OKALA is proud to
announce Governor Brad Henry has been invited to
address the Spring Conference on Oklahoma’s
seniors.
Paul Willging:
Dr. Willging is the CEO of the Assisted
Living Association of America. He also teaches
and conducts research at Johns Hopkins
University on health policy, long-term care and
gerontology. Dr. Willging is also Adjunct
Professor of Health Care Sciences at The George
Washington University in Washington, D.C..
Previously, Dr. Willging served as President and
Chief Executive Officer of the American Health
Care Association and has over 30 years
experience in the health care industry
Kristine Sexter has devoted 18 years to
studying success and professional commitment. As
the Founder of Work Wise Productions, Kristine
radiates confidence and energy while she enables
others to do the same. She engages her audience
with effective and infectious levels of humor as
she conveys the importance of customer service.
Allan Thomas is the CEO of TAGWEB, a national
healthcare consulting firm specializing in
litigation management for long term care
providers. Thomas has spent 20 years in the
insurance business, with the last 10 focusing
solely on long term care facilities
James Joslin is the Director of Long Term
Care Survey Division at the State Health
Department. He directs a staff of 70 surveyors
responsible for the safety of residents in
nursing homes, assisted living and residential
care homes.
Mary Sue Patchett is the Vice President
for Alterra’s Southern Division with over 4000
residents in Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma and
Texas. She is responsible for human resources,
program development and implementation, sales
and marketing and financial management. She was
a founding faculty member of the ALFA Institute.
Bill Price is the President and CEO for
Price Companies. He established the Safety and
Security Services division after retiring as a
lieutenant from the Oklahoma City Police
Department.
Darryle Finch is a supervisor at the
Veteran’s Services Center in Muskogee. He
obtained the necessary approval to allow
veterans and their widow to utilize veteran’s
benefits in Assisted Living.
Dirk O’Hara is the chair of the Oklahoma
Assisted Living Association and is the director
of Rambling Oaks, Rambling Oaks Courtyard and
Brookhaven Extensive Care in Norman. Dirk is
active in state assisted living advocacy.
Elise Dunitz Brennan is a partner in the
law firm of Doerner, Saunders, Daniel &
Anderson, L.L.P. in Tulsa. Her practice consists
of representing all facets of health care
providers. Ms. Brennan is the past president of
the Oklahoma Health Lawyers Association.
Marvin York is a professional lobbyist
for OKALA as well as for American Airlines, IBM,
the Chickasaw Nation and others. He served for
16 years as a Member of the Oklahoma House of
Representatives, Oklahoma State Senate and the
Oklahoma Senate President Pro Tempore.
